Keep your faith in Moses and Jesus, then add an additional faith in Mohammed.
Keep your faith in the Torah of Moses and the Gospel of Jesus, then add an additonal faith in the Quran.

Therefore, by believing in Mohammed, you will not lose your belief in Moses and Jesus; because the belief in all the apostles is a must according to the Quran.

But I have to reject the crucified Jesus don't I?

If you say yes, then you want me to "keep my faith" in a different Jesus, an imaginary figure, rather than the true Jesus Christ that walked the Earth and was crucified on the cross.

Jesus Christ said "I am the way, I am the truth, I am the life. No one comes to the Father (God) but through me. " John 14:6

You can't have Mohammad and Jesus at the same time.

So what you are saying is that if I have a Cadillac and a Rolls Royce I should add a Lada.

Any Jew or Christian who would follow eanassir's advice, would have to commit suicide, immediately after adopting Mohammed.

Doesn't the Quoran teach that apostasy is punishable by death?

And also that Jews and Christians are monkeys and pigs?

Apostatsy is formally renouncing belief...eanassir did not advise anyone to renounce their beliefs. He advised to add beliefs.

eanassir, why don't you add Moses and Jesus to your faith.
If you can ask others to add to their faith, then you should be able to do the same. If you do this, you'll see, you will become a much better person.

Or are you one of those stupid Muslims who likes to tell everybody else what to do but don't do any of it yourself.

Perhaps, Tonnington, but Sharia Law and the REligion of Peace would find an excuse for the pleasure of public flogging, stoning and death to the infidel.

I'm not so hip to public flogging, stoning and death but I'm 100% in support of bringing back the stocks and making a good buck or two on the side selling Christian only smokies.

To believe in Moses and Jesus is prior to believing in Mohammed

God ordered in the Quran to believe in Moses, Jesus, Mohammed and all the prophets and apostles of God.
Therefore, the Muslim believes in Mohammed, but he also believes that God had sent Moses and Jesus as His apostles to people.

So any Muslim who does not believe in Moses or Jesus or the other prophets --> then he is a disbeliever, and it is not accepted from him.

Some of Jews converted and said to Mohammed: "Concerning you, Mohammed, we have believed: because we see the exclusive worship to God alone is like the First Commandment that we should not take any god besides God, while concerning Jesus: we don't believe in him because he was a sorcerer and impostor!"

But Mohammed refused their faith, and God revealed to him this aya 4: 136

The explanation:
(O believers [in Mohammed and the Quran],
believe in God and His messenger [Jesus] and the scripture [: the Gospel] which He revealed to His messenger [Jesus],
and the scripture [: the Ten Commandments] which He had revealed aforetime.

Whoso unbelieves in God and His angels and His scriptures and His messengers and the Last Day, has surely gone far, far astray.)

Islam needs a radical reformation. If Jews could break a 6000 year old tradition, Muslims could, nay, should do the same. http://www.theonion.com/articles/jewish-elders-lift-6000year-ham-ban,992/
Right again, wow, twice in one night! :) Islam is still stuck in about the 8th century and needs a reformation like the 16th century Protestant reformation of Christianity to bring it up to date. Actually, Christianity could probably use another reformation too, if for no other reason than to get rid of its biases against women.

Try subtracting a faith from your faith. Then you're a slave to no one.

But only a slave to the cigarette :D

LOL Religion is for primitives.

Religion of the primitive is for the primitive, and the primitive is for their religion :lol:

This is what you think. You consider only the materialistic view.

How is that: When Jesus came, did he construct towers, or did he make castles? The Roman and the Greek buildings and engineering was existent and established.

Jesus came to reform a wicked generation taking the external part of the religion of God and practicing the enthusiasm and idolatry and ignoracne of the pagan. He had nothing to do with buildings and castles and ship construction.

So the reformation in need now for all the world is not the ideas of the atheists, but the explanation of the Quran the word of God to all humanity: the one who accepts it will prosper, and those who do not accept the guidance will deteriorate.

Mohammed came and was denied, like how the past apostles had been denied. Moses was denied and Jesus was denied.

Mohammed was denied concerning his receiving the Quran revelation (i.e. they said to him: you are not sent by God),
and the Mahdi will be denied concerning his interpretation of the Quran (i.e. they will say to him: no, this interpretation is not correct, and you forge it from your own)

As in the Quran 10: 39

The explanation:
(But [actually] they have cried lies to the [mysterious ayat of theQuran: the 'similitudes'], the knowledge of which they comprehend not,

and evenwhen the interpretation thereof will come to them [at the time of the Mahdi-Paraclite,they will also cry lies.]

Even so those [non-believing nations] that were beforethem cried lies [to their apostles];

then see [O Mohammed] what end was of thewrong-doers [: was it not destruction and ruining?] )

We do not discriminate between the apostles of God

So we believe in all the apostles of God: we don't believe in some and disbelieve in others.

We believe in all Moses, Jesus and Mohammed, as do we believe in all the Torah, the Gospel and the Quran.

This is according to the aya 2:258

The explanation:
(The messenger [Mohammed] has now believed inthat is revealed to him from his Lord; and the believers [have also believed];

each one [of them] believes in God and His angels, His Books [: Scriptures] and His messengers [: apostles];

[they say:] 'We make no discrimination concerning any one of His messengers.' [: 'We believe in them, all.']

They say, 'We hear and obey. Our Lord, grant us Thy forgiveness; To Thee is [our] final resort [after death.]')

On the other hand, God dispraised those who discriminate between His apostles by believing in some and disbelieving in others; this is in the Quran 4: 150-151

The explanation:
(Those who unbelieve in God and His apostles [: messengers],

and intend to discriminate God from His apostles [by denying some of them],

and say:"We believe in some [of the prophets] and unbelieve in others" [:Jews unbelieve in Jesus and Mohammed; Christians unbelieve in Mohammed]

and intend to take a course midway [to misguidance according to their desires.]

These, in truth, are the non-believers;

and We have prepared for non-believers a humiliating chastisement.)
