The Quran gives easier duties than the Torah of Ezra gives.

Many religious rites in the Torah are very hard and difficult for man to practice.

This had been done on purpose: because they deserved such difficulties: they disobeyed their prophets and showed them various kinds of disobedience and rebellion.

Their prophets suffered bitterly from their stubborn behavior, and they disregarded the commandments of God.

Therefore, God made difficulties in their religion and imposed on them hard duties.

Then Jesus - Salam be to him - came and he alleviated some of such difficulties.

Then Prophet Mohammed came with the Quran revealed to him: the Quran alleviated much of such hard duties, and the Quran instead gives the easier way of rites and the easier religious duties.

This is in the Quran 4: 160-161

فَبِظُلْمٍ مِّنَ الَّذِينَ هَادُواْحَرَّمْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ طَيِّبَاتٍ أُحِلَّتْ لَهُمْ وَبِصَدِّهِمْ عَن سَبِيلِاللّهِ كَثِيرًا . وَأَخْذِهِمُ الرِّبَا وَقَدْ نُهُواْعَنْهُ وَأَكْلِهِمْ أَمْوَالَ النَّاسِ بِالْبَاطِلِ وَأَعْتَدْنَالِلْكَافِرِينَ مِنْهُمْ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا​

The explanation:
(Because of the wrongdoing of Jews, We forbade them [certain] good and wholesome [foods] which were [before] permitted for them, and because of their hindering much many [of people] from God's way. [Observe what they do now in this forum and other sites]

And [because of] their taking usury that they were prohibited, and their devouring people's wealth without right; We have prepared for the disbelievers among them a painful chastisement.)

Some ofthe Cattle and Animals Forbidden to Jews

· As in the Book of Deuteronomy,chapter 14: 3-19

“3-Eat not the things that are unclean.

4-These are the beasts that you shall eat: the ox, and the sheep, and the goat,

5-The hart and the roe, the buffle, the chamois, the wild goat, the camelopardalus.

6-Everybeast that divides the hoof in two parts, and chews the cud, you shall eat.


7-But of them that chew the cud, but divide not hoof, you shall not eat, such as the camel, the hare, and the cherogril. Because they chew the cud, but divide not the hoof, they shall be unclean to you.

8-The swine also, because it divides the hoof, cheweth not the cud, but shall be unclean: their flesh you shall not eat, and their carcasses you shall not touch.


9-These shall you eat of all that abide in the waters: All that have fins and scales you shall eat.


10-Such as are without fins and scales you shall not eat, because they are unclean.



11-All birds that are clean you shall eat.


12-The unclean eat not: to wit’ the eagle, and the grype and the osprey,

13-The ringtail, and the vulture, and the kite according to their kind:

14-And all of the raven’s kind:

15-And the ostrich, and the owl, and the larus, and the hawk according to its kind.

16-The heron, and the swan, and the stork,

17-And the cormorant, the prophirion, and the night crow,

18-The bittern, and the charadrion, every one in their kind: the hoop also and the bat.



19-Everything that creeps, and has little wings, shall be unclean, and shall not be eaten.”



· And it is mentioned in the Book ofLeviticus, chapter 11: 22-40

“22-That you shall eat: as the bruchus in its kind, the attacus and ophiomachus, and thelocust every one according to their kind.



23-But of flying things whatsoever has four feet only shall be an abomination to you.

24-And whosoever shall touch the carcasses of them shall be defiled: and shall be unclean until the evening:

25-And if it be necessary that he carry any of these things when they are dead: he shall wash his clothes, and shall be unclean until the sun set.

26-Every beast that has a hoof, but it divides it not, nor cheweth the cud shall be unclean:and he that touches it shall be defiled.


27-That which walks upon hands of all animals which go on all four shall be unclean: he that shall touch their carcasses shall be defiled until evening.

28-And he that shall carry such carcasses shall wash his clothes, and shall be uncleanuntil evening: because all these things are unclean to you.



29-These also shall be reckoned among unclean things, of all that move upon the earth. Theweasel and mouse, and the crocodile, every one according totheir kind:

30-The shrew, and the chameleon, and the stellio, and the lizard,and the mole.

31-All these are unclean. He that touches their carcasses shall be unclean until the evening.

32-And upon what thing so ever any of their carcasses shall fall, it shall be defiled,whether it be a vessel of wood, or a garment, or skins or haircloths; oranything in which work is done. They shall be dipped in water, and shall be unclean until the evening, and so afterwards shall be unclean.

33-But an earthen vessel, into which any of these shall fall, shall be defiled: and therefore is to be broken.

34-Any meat which you eat, if water from such a vessel be poured upon it, shall beunclean, and every liquor that is drunk out of any such vessel shall beunclean.

35-And upon whatsoever thing any of these dead beasts shall fall, it shall be unclean.Whether it be oven, or pots with feet, they shall be destroyed and shall be unclean.

36-But fountains and cisterns, all gatherings together of waters shall be clean. He that touches their carcasses shall be defiled.

37-If it fall upon seed corn, it shall not defile it.

38-But if any man pour water upon the seed, and afterwards it be touched by the carcasses, it shall be forthwith defiled.

39-If any beast die, of which it is lawful for you to eat, he that touches the carcass thereof shall be unclean until the evening.

40-And he that eats or carries anything thereof shall wash his clothes, and shall be uncleanuntil the evening.”

Hence, God made the orders heavy on Jews; so that the earthen vessel, on which some of these carcasses fall should be destroyed, and the stove should be destroyed.

Isn’t this a revenge and punishment from God for their bad deeds and their wickedness?


God-be exalted- said in the Quran 6: 46

ذَلِكَ جَزَيْنَاهُم بِبَغْيِهِمْ وِإِنَّا لَصَادِقُونَ​

The explanation:

(That We awarded them for their “wrong-doing and transgression”, and [certainly] We are Truthful [in that We have told you of their transgression and rebellion against Moses, their prophet.])


While God made the orders easy to Muslims, and did not forbid them any kind of meat except the pork (i.e. the swine flesh,) and the dead animal (i.e. the carcass) and the blood. That is because of diseases included in these things and caused by them, and for this reason He forbade them to Muslims.

God-be exalted- said in the Quran 5: 3

حُرِّمَتْ عَلَيْكُمُ الْمَيْتَةُ وَالْدَّمُ وَلَحْمُ الْخِنْزِيرِ وَمَا أُهِلَّ لِغَيْرِ اللّهِ بِهِ وَالْمُنْخَنِقَةُ وَالْمَوْقُوذَةُ وَالْمُتَرَدِّيَةُ وَالنَّطِيحَةُ وَمَا أَكَلَ السَّبُعُ إِلاَّ مَا ذَكَّيْتُمْ وَمَا ذُبِحَ عَلَى النُّصُبِ وَأَن تَسْتَقْسِمُواْ بِالأَزْلاَمِ ذَلِكُمْ فِسْقٌ ​

The explanation:

(Forbidden to you [for food] are dead [animals], blood, the flesh of swine, and that dedicated to other than God, and strangled [beast], and the dead through beating, the dead through falling from a height, and that killed by the goring [of horns], and that [partly] eaten by a beast of prey; unless you are able to slaughter [it before its death], and that sacrificed to idols. And [forbidden is it] that you divide [the sacrifice] by the arrows (or lots) : that will be ungodliness.)

You know what's even less difficult?

Not following or practicing any religion and living your life as you see fit, rather then living your life based on what some guy a few hundred years ago thought you should live it.

That's not why I think you'd especially like that "painful chastisement" bit, it really has nothing to do with it. It's because I think you believe people who disagree with your religious beliefs deserve painful torment and torture, you've told us often enough, with a certain amount of smug self-righteousness, that that's what going to happen to us. I also think you'd cheerfully watch it happen, and that given the chance you'd happily inflict it on unbelievers yourself, believing you were doing god's work. And I think that any one of those three defines you as an evil man.

The non-religious wants to be free

That is to live as non-religious, and so you will not be bound with any restrictions; because the law is a restriction; so being without law, it means free without any restriction.
The purpose from denying the Judgment is that the non-religious man wants to be free, to do whatever disobedience he may do.

This is in the Quran 75: 5-6


بَلْ يُرِيدُالْإِنسَانُ لِيَفْجُرَ أَمَامَهُ . يَسْأَلُ أَيَّانَ يَوْمُ الْقِيَامَةِ​


The explanation:
(But man aims [from his denial of the sending-forth to the afterlife] to go on as a profligate.
He questions [with his denial]: "When is theDoomsday!?")

The Torah of Moses essentially was to let man live a good life with God's obedience; but according to their disobeying God and their stiffened necks as was described in the Bible --> then the laws were hardened and made difficult to them.

Then when Jesus came, he recommended the Law of Moses should be preserved, and he brought some alleviation.

When the Quran was revealed to Mohammed, it included much easiness for them in case they convert and become Muslims: they will enjoy the easiness prescribed by God Most Gracious; while if they keep to their old religion and denying Prophet Mohammed, they will bound themselves with their difficulties and hardness.

As in the Quran 7: 157
الَّذِينَ يَتَّبِعُونَ الرَّسُولَ النَّبِيَّ الأُمِّيَّالَّذِي يَجِدُونَهُ مَكْتُوبًا عِندَهُمْ فِي التَّوْرَاةِ وَالإِنْجِيلِ يَأْمُرُهُمبِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَيَنْهَاهُمْ عَنِ الْمُنكَرِ وَيُحِلُّ لَهُمُ الطَّيِّبَاتِ وَيُحَرِّمُعَلَيْهِمُ الْخَبَآئِثَ وَيَضَعُ عَنْهُمْ إِصْرَهُمْ وَالأَغْلاَلَ الَّتِي كَانَتْعَلَيْهِمْ فَالَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ بِهِ وَعَزَّرُوهُ وَنَصَرُوهُ وَاتَّبَعُواْ النُّورَالَّذِيَ أُنزِلَ مَعَهُ أُوْلَئِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُون​

The explanation:
(Such as follow the messenger, [Mohammed] the illiterate prophet, whom they find described in the Torah and the Gospel [which are] with them:
>> enjoining on them that which is right and forbidding them that which is wrong,
>> making lawful for them all the good things and prohibiting for them only the foul;
>> and relieving them of the burden [of their covenant] and the bounds that were on them. ​

Then those who believe in him, and assist him, and help him, and follow the light [: the Quran] which is sent down with him: they are the successful.​

Say [Mohammed, to them]:
"O mankind, I am sent to you all, by God Who owns the heavens and the earth;
there is no god but He [alone];
He gives life and causes death. ​

Believe, then, [O people] in God, [but do not associate anything or anyone with Him], ​

and [believe] in His messenger: the illiterate prophet [:Mohammed], who believes in God and His words [: the Ten Commandments inscribed on the Tablets], ​

and follow him that you may be guided [to the way of the truth.]"​

The Religion of Submission to God alone without any associate, son, parents, equal or patron.
The slavery to God Most Gracious and the freedom from the bondage to others.

Essentially I don't desire pain and suffering for people, but in case they disbelieve and insist on their disbelief and contradicting God and His commandments --> then God will inflict them with His punishment; am I more merciful than God Most Gracious, but only they deserved their punishment.

While what you say that I am an evil man; it is not up to me to decide I am good or evil.

But it has been the program of some new atheists, as do they call themselves, to accuse the believers that they are evil and the prophets are evil and God Himself; but they are wrong, and their purpose is exposed and they cannot cheat people: People now are educated and they can search the internet and seek after the truth for any who loves the truth.

What is ignorance and that God created ignorance?
The igonrance is a negative thing; it means nothing.
So God punishes you for your own flaws.

I don't believe you, you've emphasized the horrors that await unbelievers too many times without expressing anything I can detect as empathy for them, the only attitude you display is that they deserve it. I think the idea pleases you.
