Perhaps . He is self funding , and therefore not beholden to special interests . That can be a positive in the general election , but will not sit well with many in the Democrat hierarchy.

Are these kids willing to put up the money for 'creating' the suites? Are they willing to abide by the homeowners rules? Somehow I doubt it.

There might be a little more to it than that. If the struggling wage slave has problematic tenants, it could spell disaster for him, where as a person such as major may have the resources and support from the bureaucracy to move the guy out and replace him with someone better!
