Two games in the CFL today. The Boatmen are in La belle province to take on the Dirty Birds. Go Montreal. Following the warm-up game, the Saskatchewan Roughriders will visit BC Place to see how the Lion's latest version of a QB fairs against our defence.

The Argos just made this game interesting after they scored their second TD of the game and overtook the Als for a 17 - 13 lead as the 3rd Q comes to an end.

Al's retake lead early in 4th after a beauty run by Jeremiah Johnson through throngs of defenders and right into the end zone.

TO's 3rd TD came with but 1:24 remaining in the game. With the point after they came within 3 points of tieing the Als. The Als have a minute eight left to hang onto the lead.

Wouldn't you know, the most interesting part of the game is in the dieing minutes just before my game is to start...........and if Crappy nails this FG...........from the 52..........five minutes until the Rider's game........come on guys.........:02 on the clock..........and Crappy misses....ah well.............no OT thank heavens. Now off to the most important game of the week!

Lions are forced to kick before they even get close to midfield but the Riders get pinned deep in their own zone........

Not too worry............Cody finds Rosy for a 24 yard gain........and Powell comes within inches of the D.............Flag on the play as the Riders get the D............offside BC.......definite 1rst D............William gets the D and Yak yards to boot...........loss of a yard on the next play..........and Cody gets sacked..............well poo................Lions pinned at their 16 after the boot

1:45 left in the half and my Riders finally get on the board with a TD........but Brett uncharacteristically misses the convert so we are tied with BC at 9 apiece.

After recovering an O'Brien fumble the Riders manage a FG to lead by 3 going into the half. Must say the Lion's QB has acquitted himself well in the first half.
