Probably time to put the Omar case to rest. 17 years ago he committed a felony as a 15 year old for which he's been under sentence ever since. Canadian law sets the maximum sentence for a young offender at 7 years. Let it go! That little kunt in Alberta who had her mother, father and brother murdered a few years ago is already free!

He was to serve no less than 8 years in jail when the US handed him over, Canada broke the deal twice now

He is a war criminal who murdered a medic.

If Americans are so damn evil, why didn't they blow his brains out on the spot if they were in a fire fight where it wouldn't have been murder if US soldiers killed him?

Why can't moonbats accept that?

He killed a medic and got your money. How does that work? How can I get in on that kinda deal?

The burning question is was it an act of murder or an act of manslaughter or something different altogether? Second question is was the intent to kill? Even with the worst case scenario his act is still no worse than young offenders today who serve a maximum of 7 years. That's the main criteria for sentencing young offenders.

He pled guilty to the charges so symantec's doesn't matter, he gots paid because CSIS stuck their nose into it and turned evidence over to the US prosecutors

According to some lawyers pleading guilty in Guantanimo doesn't mean a hell of a lot. I think you'll find a lot of the hatred directed toward Omar has more to do with his ethnic background than any deeds he did.

He was a combatant in a war zone and threw a grenade at American soldiers . That is an act of war not a mistake by a young offender .

So why is he not tried as a soldier?

Can't have it both ways piggy.

Thousands of soldiers are killed in war - wtf makes this one American so special?

No one cares about his race . They care about his ties to Alceda and the murderous policies of their religion .A fifteen year old bomb maker is aware of the destructive properties of explosives.

To bad they didn’t finish the job .
Is that anything like too bad?

Too bad you have no knowledge of what happened - as is usual for the things you like to shoot your snout off about
