Kavanaugh - Final Notes
It's been reported that Kavananaugh's angry defense against Ford and his OpEd on the eve of the vote were largely scripted by the spinmeisters in a boiler room of the Whitehouse. I believe that. The explosive, polemical, partisan K., was not really representative of his style or temperament which is fundamentally more moderate and consensus building.
What SCOTUS has in K. is a mildly conservative centrist. Likely to the right, but not much, of Anthony Kennedy. Trump will need another hardline, Marine Corps, conservative, to achieve his objective of overturning Roe v. Wade. More like Neil Gorsuch. He'll get more opportunities providing he gets a second term.

Gee, they've come out of the woodwork. These notable women who are claiming to have been harrassed, assaulted and abused years ago and have never reported it to anyone until now. It brings to mind that old adage that "if a dog bites a man that's not news; if a man bites a dog that is news". It seems if one of these women she was NOT sexually attacked.. that would qualify as news. The rest just seem to want to join that emancipated sisterhood with 'victim' credentials. :roll:
