I wonder why white people are confused about why BLM came into existence.

Why were Manafort and Cohen so sure they could get away with it? Because white collar crime is easy to get away with. It basically takes a special council to do it, because there are very few resources allocated to fighting it.

These two were almost comically unconcerned with covering their tracks, because if not for Trump nobody would have ever bothered to look for them

They were caught by fluke.

As Florence looms, Trump says response was incredibly successful last year in Puerto Rico, which saw nearly 3,000 excess deaths

In remarks in the Oval Office, President Trump said his administrations response to Hurricane Maria last year was an incredible, unsung success and also incorrectly suggested that Puerto Rico had virtually no electricity prior to the storm.

It was one of the best jobs thats ever been done with respect to what this is all about, Trump said. He was speaking in response to questions from reporters after receiving a briefing on Hurricane Florence.

All this shows is Trump is completely asymetric to the uninterrupted litany of mediocrities that have inhabited the Whitehouse since the late 60's, from both parties, and definitely including the most overrated of them all, the NeoCon icon (Ronald Reagan).. the most catatrophically incompetent (Carter, Clinton, GW Bush).. the most sinister and corrupt (GHW Bush).. and most disconnected and disininterested (Obama).

It's no surprise that fresh and reformist movements which Trump represents elicits the most vitriolic and hysterical opposition. The old establishment senses his appeal and see their hold of power being undermined and attack through the courts, the media, likely subversive operations. But they are so corroded its likely they cannot mount a sustained operation against positive change.
