FM radio waves tend to resonate on Channel 6. Why? I don't know. I do know, years ago, that's the one thing few missed when CBLT moved from Channel 6 to Channel 5.

I used to live less than a quarter mile from the five towers of a very powerful AM radio station. The broadcasts interfered with everything - TV, radio, telephone - until Bell buried the line and cable TV came into the area. Needless to say, we had little choice in radio stations. If I used an unshielded patch cord to plug in the guitar - especially a curly cord - I could hear CKLY on the amp. Depending on the weather, sometimes, you could even hear a sizzle from the toaster.

Sorry ... outside of suggesting cable TV, or trying another place for the set, I can't think of a thing to kill the unwanted signal.
