The best reply is according to God's words in the Quran 32: 13
The explanation: (If We had so willed, We could have given to every soul its guidance, but My due word was pronounced in truth: " Certainly, I will fill Hell with [the wrong-doers of] the genie-kind and the man-kind altogether.")
That is because not every soul will believe, but God guides whomever He please, and misguides whomever He will to misguide; i.e. the one who deserves guidance will be guided, but wrongdoers who wrong themselves and other people will not be guided.
In other words: the one who deserves guidance, and according to God's command, the angels will inspire him to believe that God is One, and that Mohammed worked like other prophets according to God's way until he broke up the idols of his people, and the angels will go on talking to him by inspiration, while he is usually unaware until he believes in God as One without associate and in all the prophets of God and in the next world. This is in the Quran 10: 100
The explanation: (It is not for any soul to believe save by God's leave; and He lays [psychological] illness on those who do not think [reasonably].)
"That is because the one believing, in God as One and in the apostle of God, will have a precious prize: Paradise; and it is not logical that the guilty and the one who work righteously will be equal in the outcome"; and all that is due to God's favor.
While the one that does not feed the poor, does not show kindness to the orphan, and that is proud over God; God will leave him be to devils to have control over them by suggestions [of devils] while such disbelievers are unaware; because they do not see the devils, until the devils will have complete control over them, and they will not be guided, even though all miracles will be done before them; and they at last will die as disbelievers and go to Hell.
This is confirmed by the words of Jesus Christ in the Gospel, according to Matthews:
Mat 13:3 Then he began to tell them many things in parables. He said, "Listen! A sower went out to sow.
Mat 13:4 As he was sowing, some seeds fell along the path, and birds came and ate them up.
Mat 13:5 Other seeds fell on stony ground, where they did not have a lot of soil. They sprouted at once because the soil wasn't deep.
Mat 13:6 But when the sun came up, they were scorched. Since they did not have any roots, they dried up.
Mat 13:7 Other seeds fell among thornbushes, and the thornbushes came up and choked them.
Mat 13:8 But other seeds fell on good soil and produced a crop, some a hundred, some sixty, and some thirty times what was sown.
Mat 13:9 Let the person who has ears listen!"
..
.
Mat 13:18 "Listen, then, to the parable about the sower.
Mat 13:19 When anyone hears the word about the kingdom yet doesn't understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is what was sown along the path.
Mat 13:20 As for what was sown on the stony ground, this is the person who hears the word and accepts it at once with joy,
Mat 13:21 but since he doesn't have any root in himself, he lasts for only a short time. When trouble or persecution comes along because of the word, he immediately falls away.
Mat 13:22 As for what was sown among the thornbushes, this is the person who hears the word, but the worries of life and the deceitful pleasures of wealth choke the word so that it can't produce a crop.
Mat 13:23 But as for what was sown on good soil, this is the person who hears the word, understands it, and produces a crop that yields a hundred, sixty, or thirty times what was sown."
