Indian cities have a severe smog problem, sort of like Beijing only worse. So they've come up with an idea to clear up that smog by pushing it into the atmosphere.
The idea is to use surplus jet engines.
Get them running (on fossil fuel, of course) and then have them suck up the smog through their intakes and propel it skyward.
