This is not anything new. The magnetic field surrounding the Earth has been known to protect the Earth from Solar flares for decades. And, the various "radiation belts" have also been know about for a rather long time.

Scientists are learning more and more about our planet, and the various ways in which it appears to be unique when compared to other planets. It is in just the right place in the Solar System; it has just the right kinds of protective belts around it, and as a result it allows life forms that simply could not exist on the vast majority of planets.

Help someone, if the shield is really invisible do tell how it was found.
The next question would be, 'How much is it going to cost us to to do whatever has to be done to it to save us from certain extinction?' (within 10 years)

and the various ways in which it appears to be unique when compared to other planets.
If that doesn't scream, 'be very afraid.' nothing ever will ???? or in other words, why natural physics doesn't apply to what Science comes up with in their very expensive research when applied to how even the weather works on this planet.
