NASA has released a photo of the sun looking a lot like a Jack-o-lantern.
In an image captured Oct. 8, shows bright, or active regions, of the sun that seem to form two eyes, a triangle-like nose and an eerie grin.
“Boo! The sun is looking spooky,” NASA tweeted.
The image actually blends two shots of the same wavelengths – which are usually captured separately in gold and yellow - to create the Halloween-like appearance.
