I just recently moved from the comfort of my home in orleans,ontario and am now living with my family in montreal.im 17 years old and have obviously ran into the majot problem of finding a job, i am not bilingual at all, im aware of telemarketing jobs but cannot find any online,i need a job to afford my schooling, does anybody at all know where i can go, or look or even have any idea of what i can do, help would be much appreciate!

I'm from Montreal, but never learned French so I moved to BC before all that separatist nonsense happened.

A name like "Jacques" and you are from Ontario. How big a place is Orleans? We seem to have more than one poster from there. Why are you in Montreal for schooling if you cannot afford to be there? Why would your parents send you to a city where you cannot speak the language? At 17 you haven't even graduated from High School until the end of this school year which means if you are going to school there, you are a few months too early. I think you are a teen who stumbled onto here and think you will have some fun with us.
You'll have to look for jobs in the West of the island in order to find something... and even then, not knowing French is a significant handicap...
Well first things first I'm disappointed you think I'm here to have fun, I'm in need of help and before presuming anything which is very selfish, let me explain. First of Orleans is a big enough place for what it is,it has a population of 95,000, i can afford to be in montreal,also seeing the schooling is cheaper, i just need a job so i can pay for my books etc, seeing i do not want my parents to pay for everything, i would also like my own money on the side to be able to afford life, getting my license etc.Well my parents moved here because they now have to work here, and i have no choice but to go with them. i am also here to apply to colleges such as mcgill, concordia etc. I'm very serious about my education and i just want to be able to support myself and not rely on others, whats wrong with that?, learning french for me is hard, when i used to live here when i was smaller i never really picked it up, and i know now won't be any different, i took french classes in ottawa at my school in orleans and if you have any doubts of that it was st.matthews catholic high school and i still just cant pick it up its very hard for me, just like i cant seem to grasp math. All i am looking for his help not people jumping to conclusion and presuming i am on here for fun? I have had a major problem put apon me and it is very stressful, i have researched and all i have come across is telemarketing jobs and i guess that is what i am going to have to stick with but i dont even know where to...
