MONTREAL -- Residents of Dollard des Ormeaux were distracted Sunday night by an eerie noise they said sounded like trumpets somewhere in the sky.
"All the dogs in the neighbourhood are going nuts," D.D.O. resident Adria Morrell posted to Facebook around 10 p.m. She recorded the noise, which sounded like wind through wires or windchimes.
There was no wind at the time, she said, and soon after she posted, other West Island residents recounted their own spooky aural encounters. The sound was reported to have lasted more than an hour.

This sort of event isn't unheard of. Similar things have happened in Montana, Australia, Germany and British Columbia. Though there's no clear explanation, reports say NASA has theorized that it could be the "background noise of the earth."
"These natural radio emissions from the planet are very much real," Tech Times reported (external - login to view) NASA as saying.

It's probably angelic music. Literally the music of the angels in heaven.
