I left my farm in Saskatchewan a few years ago and miss the wide open fields so much. I miss the smell of grain dust and the combine lights at night. I even miss the itch of truckloads of barley (I used to work for SWP...now I'm in Newfoundland.)
I wish all you hard working farmers across the prairies a good, safe harvest. I hope the heat hasn't shrivelled everything up. I hope the bank hasn't either.
