Observing thought

I must love the very thing I am studying. If you want to understand a child, you must love and not condemn him. You must play with him, watch his movements, his idiosyncrasies, his ways of behavior; but if you merely condemn, resist or blame him, there is no comprehension of the child. Similarly, to understand what is, one must observe what one thinks, feels and does from moment to moment. That is the actual.Your thought.

Yup. It's called introspection. To an extreme level it's self-absorbtion. On a psychiatric level it's narcissism.
Some people learn about themselves in the way others see them. Yet other people learn about themselves from the way they see themselves. Some learn both ways.

*shrugs* I enjoy discussing how the human mind works. I thought Anna's response regarding introspection was a neat take on it. It wasn't argumentative. It was merely expounding on the subject. For that you took a swipe at her. I could really care less what you choose to spew to me china. You proved yourself a small petty man, again.

yet another post that is such a half formed thought that he can claim any poster who adds to it or disagrees with it 'just doesn't understand'.
what is it that you don't understand in my posts karrie ?
I,d be happy to explain
I guess you can always revert to pictures ......if that is the standard of this Canadian forum .

As I have explained to AG I have no reason to assault any one

You are right karrie ,it wasn't at all ;neither was my response to AG insulting in any way.
You proved yourself a small petty man, again.
I'll tell you something karrie ;one of the differences between you and me isss that I don,t need to prove a damn thing to me , you or anyone else .

Does it not occur to you, china, that people's negative reactions to you might have more to do with you than them? You post a vaguely-worded false dichotomy about love versus condemnation as if there were nothing in between, AnnaG responds thoughtfully, you call her ignorant, karrie comments, quite justifiably, on the vagueness of your OP, then you insult her, while through it all pretending to be the soul of sweet reasonableness.

Here's your pattern: you post some pseudo-profundity that's either blindingly obvious or completely incomprehensible, people comment and question, and you insult those who disagree or don't immediately support you. I've seen you do that repeatedly, including doing it to me several times. You don't come across as a nice person, and you're not the deep thinker you pretend to be. Buy a ladder, maybe you can use it to get over yourself.

Thanks for your post DS .You are correct in many things that you use to describe me eg..."you're not the deep thinker you pretend to be' .You are so correct ; I do that as little as possible ( thinking).
Any how , I have to admit that sometimes i do get nasty and for that I apologize .In future if you (anyone)wants to participate in a discussion in my thread and does'nt understand something..... just ask ,and it's not that I will give you an answer, but we can look for the answer together , that's all..

How does this apply to Football?
The Riders aren't doing well, & I'm not very happy about it.
Great Defensive Game so far, but it's so frustrating! :angryfire:

Buck Pierce finally put together a great performance, Wally should have put him
'on the line' before this, maybe he would have responded a few weeks ago.

I remember Joe Kapp and Willie Fleming, Willie raised labradors and trained them for field trial work,
and we did also, and we lived in Surrey at that time, and use to see him at the 'dog trials' many times, nice fellow.
oh by the way, he was also a great player for the lions.;-)

:D "Football" has nothing on rugby. The players need pads to protect their precious selves, can only play for seconds at a time, have too many rules and plays that detract focus from the actual gameplay, rarely actually touch the ball with their feet, etc. :D

I think football is a great game, and I like rugby too, but don't watch it.

There are many different thoughts to witness on this thread of yours China, they

are everything and everywhere, not many sticking to the point though.
