Does anyone know a way to get through to an Ontario bureaucrat? All I want to do is change the address on my handicap parking permit. It seems that isn't done when you change Driver Licences and Vehicle Registrations. That might make a paper-shuffler's job look easy.

I spent twenty minutes on an automated answerer - on long distance - to hear messages about unsafe drivers; Found an 800 number (of course that's not the one posted on the tag) for the same ministry - only to hear she didn't have a clue. She did give me another number to call - which was out of service.

Government Services? My arse!

Woof!

I would suggest visiting any Driver and Vehicle Licence Issuing Office. They should be able to help you. It seems impossible to do this over the Internet or over the telephone.

Although it's not likely, I hope he got the lube job first. We would be seeing instead of 'woof' for a sig, 'Owooooooch' in it's place.

You'll just have to find other parking spots, like the rest of us unfortunates.

Jokes aside, I do hope you get it all straightened out. Don't you hate over the phone customer service of ANY kind. You have to go through ten departments, and finally when you speak to the right person, they tell you that they can't help.

Wolf:

If you can get to any Driver and Vehicle Licence Issuing Office. as suggested above, you can get the form there, and a COA should be simple.

I'm new here in this forum but saw this post and hope I can help. I went through the same frustration a couple of years ago when we moved from one town to another (but within 10 km) and stumbled across this website where you can change addresses for most things together on one site. The site is: http://www.gov.on.ca/ont/portal/!ut/...=STEL02_040172
