Hello!

Did a search on here but came up with nothing very helpful.

So, this is the scenario. My British husband and I currently live in Munich, Germany. However, due to a promotion, we may well be moving to Ontario, Canada pretty soon. I am a Malaysian citizen (non-Muslim Chinese) and I have an MBA from a UK University plus 15 years work experience in various fields (marketing, administration, office management etc) in the commercial and also non-profit organization (UN) with global exposure.

What I would like to ask is, would it be difficult to obtain employment in Canada?

Cheers!

welcome to Ontario

The province of Ontario is quite large so depending on where you are moving will depend on how easy finding employment will be. Living in Southern Ontario or Central Ontario finding a job is easier but by no means guaranteed in the North jobs are much harder to find. I am sending a few urls that might help you in your transition http://jb-ge.hrdc-drhc.gc.ca/prov_en.aspx?Student=No this is a job search by province so in your case click on the word Ontario and follow the links. This last url is the government of Ontario web site that might help you discover Ontario http://www.gov.on.ca/ont/portal/!ut/p/.cmd/cs/.ce/7_0_A/.s/7_0_24P/_s.7_0_A/7_0_24P/_l/en?docid=EC002001 Hope this helps and have a great day.

Hi Briteyes,

Thanks for the links and apologies for the late reply. The relocation has been delayed for a while....so I will come back here if I need further information.

Have a good day.
