London Area braces for walkout

"Two thousand London-area school kids have been ordered to stay home and local trash pickup and other services could be disrupted as Ontario braces for an illegal strike just after midnight tonight by key civic and education workers."


So this union has 100K member that could affect Ontario’s essential services. Why do we allow these unions to get so big? I say disban the union and set up regional unions to deal with the problems these unions seem to be faced with.

It is an illegal strike to boot. Maybe we should let them go on-strike and fire every last member that participates.

It is against our interests to allow unions to get this big and powerful and so demanding.

Transit workers in New York City pulled the same stunt this past December just before Christmas, they got slapped with a $1 million fine, for every day they were on strike, that made them rush back to work.

They are lucky I'm not Premier of Ontario.....
