The problem is, it's not just the Wynned sock. This is Ontario Liberal policy. In a recent survey, 37% ( or maybe it was 39%, can't remember offhand) of Ontarians said they would vote for the Ontario Liberals if they turfed Wynne. This just demonstrates how stupid they are because they'd still be voting for the same policies that have been sinking Ontario and screwing the taxpayer for the last 13 years.

But just to clarify once again, it's not the rates that are the killer, it's that goddam Global Adjustment Fee. Get rid of that garbage and those $1000 hydro bills are back down to a manageable $250.

The Teacher's Union Members who decide who gets elected, can all afford their hydro bills. The rest of us are being told to just suck it up....it's the cost of a clean environment.

Meanwhile, tons of manufacturing outlets are now springing up in Quebec and Manitoba to the demise of Ontario. These companies won't pay the province's ridiculous hydro rates and are moving out in droves.

Job killer.

Agreed but Wynne is the face of the Libs and as such is the one to be held responsible.

I heard the other day that she is going to announce further reductions in the cost of Hydro but no details as of yet.

here's that poll from Sept....

Mainstreet Research for Postmedia, released Thursday, asked respondents how they’d vote if the Liberals called an election with somebody other than Wynne leading the party. It found 39% would pick the Liberals, a four-point lead over Patrick Brown’s Progressive Conservatives.
Breaking out Toronto, that lead extends to a staggering 22 points, with a Liberal sweep likely in the 416.

Global Adjustment doubles my consumption. I'm Rural - Low Density. Delivery doubles my consumption. Thus, $54.43 for 562.8 kWh powers $65.30 for those same 562.8 kWh and it costs $88.11 to deliver it.
