Friday morning 5:00 am I'm fueling up for my trip to T.O. at the service station in the pic (behind the station is North)
I'm getting back in my truck at the diesel pump after paying inside when this little red car, coming from the east comes in at a high rate of speed between my truck and the small traffic island at the bottom of the picture.
I had my hand on the driver's door handle, on the pump side, and I feel the truck lurch, so I knew it had been hit and the little car is long gone.
I'm in the process of looking for damage on my truck when that same car zooms back the other way on the highway going way over 100 in a 50 speed limit.
Since the only thing on my truck is the dust taken of where the car mirror hit the rear wheel well plastic trim..(A little bit of red paint left there...and a lot of red paint and scuff mark only on the corner of the rear bumper)... so I would have been wasting time calling the police.
Last night I called the gas station and the attendant told me he saved that bit of film from the cameras (too dark to see the licence number... but if I ever see a little red car with a long scratch on the passenger side at the same height as my bumper, the film goes to the O.P.P.
