Canuck Hockey Game at BC Place?

The recent Winter Classic in Chicago was a great success with 40,000 fans. I wonder if the Canucks would ever consider having a game at BC Place. With over 200 consecutive sellouts, the Canucks could likely sell out the 60,000 seats a few times a year.

What some people call a white elephant, could use a few more dates and show that Vancouver is the greatest hockey city on the planet. No, the universe. And without a Stanley Cup too.

Cuz we're all Canucks, they say.

maybe when we have our new retractable roof, then it could be a pretend
outdoor game, (unless its raining), then close it, quick.

Close it quick? Vancouver is still in Canada, we get cold winters like now. The roof at BC Place could be easily open all day for a hockey game. I've played hockey outside, and it's fun, feeling the fresh air.

Yeah you're right, it would be fun.

This would be great publicity for the NHL, a hockey team putting on a few regular season games and 60,000 fans show up each time. And all having good sightlines. I have trouble seeing who loses here.

I'm sure the Canucks could think up another way to lose a game.......What is it now? 7 games in a row?......

Yeah, I think so, but they did play quite well last night till the last period, and
I see the team fighting their way back, still need some major improvements, as
Bieksa played awful, but then Pyatt played quite well, after I trashed him a lot
last few days, maybe I will pick on Bieksa now, and see if he will get better.
I've never seen one player make so many mistakes in one game before.
Also, Luongo isn't playing very well yet, he let in a couple of easy ones, he
looks awkward, and it might take him a while yet, he started the year slow,
and now it's like starting the year all over again, it takes him awhile.
We play San Jose tomorrow, in San Jose, who have only lost one game at home
all season, so, no more need to be said on that game, and they are also top
team overall in the nhl.
They will probably lose tomorrow night, but as long as they give a good effort,
and stay in the game and make san jose work for everything, that is OK for
me. Points are important of course, but effort and good play means a lot too,
even if you lose.
