Well, Canada is one small time player in the world. Harper was on Aljazeeera for a minute, then he switched into French and then spoke on Canada-USA affairs and then he was off the air. A Canadian PM could have spoken a large part of the world who have no clue who he is to comment on a gripping world event, and he chose to speak in banalities. Very formal and proper, stiff, and as creative as a stickman. Someone forgot to tell him the script changed. Not in the loop.

But, he will say, very soon, like Canadian business, that he's "global." Not.

"There may be questions about Canada, but bear with us." The presenter said. But the Aljazeera feed showed Obama answering a question about Egypt. Now we're on message.

1241 pm Pacific time, Harper speaks for a minute, Aljazeera loses Harper.

Did you read what you posted? It is rather disjointed and doesn't make much sense.

What I said, and they repeated this on CBC Newsworld, that as soon as Harper began to speak, the USA networks went to analysts, they weren't interested in what Harper was saying. He went off air fast. Aljazeera did the same, as soon as Harper began to speak, he quickly went off air. Earth shattering events are just lost on the little people.
