A couple of years ago a suspect was kicked twice in the ribs by the R.C.M.P. after he was placed in hand cuffs and posed no threat. The judge was smart enough to figure out the truth and shaved four months off the prisoner's sentence. The officer involved has since been transferred to Vancouver Island. So now we are finally getting a clear picture as to how these cases are resolved.
