It's amazing that the spacecraft still works, and is traveling at 17 KLM's per second.
Voyagers latest discovery was that the sun has a tail similar to a comet but on the galactic scale. I thought that was interesting. I wonder how often the ecliptic passes through the sun's "tail" and what sort of mayhem does that bring to the planets?
The planets are too close to the sun to pass anywhere near the heliosheath.
The suns orbit of the galactic core is wave like and rises and falls like a roller coaster The ecliptic does pass through from time to time. Those must be fun times.
