Re the matter of the guilt in the C.N.R. scandal involving Messrs Virk and Basi, every news cast on the radio today has quoted our illustrious premier referring to the two miscreants as a "pair of criminals". Why is Mr. Campbell emphasizing the fact so much? Is it to direct attention from his own involvement? It was about 8 years ago that Mr. Campbell himself was charged and convicted with criminal activity in Maui. Has he not learned from the old adage "people who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones"? Every one knows far too much taxpayers' money has been spent on this matter already. I think the costs should possibly be split three ways among Virk, Basi and Campbell. Sound like a plan?

Why was Campbell not charged in this fraudulent sell off of a publicly owned corporation? He was implicitly involved. Yes the schmuck is trying to deflect blame and he should pay that third out of his own pocket.
