We have a lot of fires burning all over BC. It has just rained where I live (thankfully) but the smoke cover leaves the sky looking like more rain when it's actually very warm out and where the weather forecast says "smoke". My thanks to all those from other provinces coming to our aid. (and to those from BC already fighting the fires)

KAMLOOPS, B.C. - Weary B.C. firefighters battling hundreds of wildfires are about to get another round of assistance from Alberta and Ontario.
The B.C. Forest Service says 159 firefighters are due to arrive from those provinces.
Spokeswoman Gwen Eamer says the highly specialized crews will fill-in while their B.C. counterparts take a much needed break.
Once the latest out-of-province contingents arrive, just over 400 visiting firefighters will be at work on some of the more than 400 blazes burning in B.C.
The hardest hit region is the Cariboo Chilcotin, west of Williams Lake, B.C., where a series of fires has charred a total of 500-square kilometres of bush.
No homes have been lost but numerous evacuation orders and alerts are in effect. (CHNL)

Yup. Fire at Duncan Lake over yonder made Tuesday pretty foggy around Kootenay Lake.
