If children between 6 and 10 need 2 shots...for H1N1 then 2 more for regular flu?..1 shot ,21 days,second shot,21 days third shot,21 days 4th shots...That's a lot of needles..

Is shutting down schools really effective or an over reaction ?..

How many times will schools shut down? .

.What is the criteria for school closures?..

What if it is a simple common flu or a cold goin around...How can 1 be sure..?

To be sure the vaccine is safe .It would be beneificial to see all who promote flu shots getting flu shots...

Do microbiologists and others who study flu's for a living get flu shots?..

Is there only 1 Swine "flu " ? Is the flu the same everywhere?..

What is the difference between the regular flu and Swine flu ?

What are the Real infection numbers..?Who had Swine flu ,who had the Common flu?...So we know whether to get the common flu shot or the "Swine" Flu shot?

What was the rate of infection in countries of vaccination as opposed to those who didn't recieve vaccine?

Many questions to be answered ..Hope to sort through the hype get to the facts ..Maybe learn something in the process....At least Have some good discussion..

But It is what it is..:)

You decide what to believe

It would be good to know what flu you get so you know what shot to get
.No? No use gettin the common flu shot if you just got over the common flu..

Ignore or educate, discuss then make a dicision ..up to you .I trust my doctor too ,ask him , who tells them ,especially in a private health care system like the U.S..DR's only know so much .There super humans but they don't have all the answers..

Is it about $$$ or does the medical world really care about the Sheep/Slave drones?..Let's ask a Democratics, then a Republican .

If no one asked the questions how would we know the truth ?

I don't see any news stations having a good debate ..All one sided ..A little
Bias ..Perhaps because their is no opposition to flu shots and more specifically the REALITIES of
Swine Flu - Animal/human Flu's..and the cures for them..

I don't doubt A common flu exists ..But I am very sceptical about this "Swine " flu...It seriously looks like it was manufactured ...If it was..It would be good to uncover the truth ..No?..

Just lookin for info .Answers...Like everyone else..

I just happened to find a lot of Contradictions and conflicts in the answers professionals are giving .

If Swine flu is all a big Scam/ a farce being played out for $$$ .Self interest ..Wouldn't it be good to find out so we can ween out the scoundrels..?

There is B.S. in the medical/scientific world .Like everywhere else..Few bad ones could ruin it for the majority of good...Especially when it comes to advertising/promotion /Big Business and politcs..Let them all be heard...

BUT ,If Fear is being stirred up unnecessarily / on purpose by professional, to prey on the sheep/dogs for no other reason but $$$ ..They need to be exposed and stopped...

and you would know this is a manufactured flu because you are a genetisist? You have experience in manipulating viruses to create new strains? Or are you just another fear monger stirring up the masses to make yourself feel important?

let's try to inject a few facts into your non factual tirade. Children 6 months to 9 years require 2 HALF dose shots at least 21 days apart. I assume this is because of their age and body weight.

I have listened to the news and every other source to get the Facts ...I am an educated human looking for answers ...There are too many conflicts coming from professionals...Did you not just read my post?

I don't want to get a flu .I am educated in wildlife /ecology with a very big passion for science(physics)....

It would take a long /long time for a flu to spread from a pig to a chicken to a human ... Or from any animal to another...

To find the Truth ..That is where my Interests lie!....No one should use fear, simply to make $$$$

Ya know, if you actually went to sites that weren't intent on spreading fear, and misinformation, you'd already have the answer to this very basic question.

There is no such thing as ONE common flu. Each year when you get a flu shot it's that they have taken an educated guess at which flu(s) are likely to hit and they make a vaccine for them. It has already been proven that if you get the regular flu shot, it makes you more susceptible to H1N1 so you should get both at the same time (that 's what it states in our Vancouver Province Paper today). I had a couple of customers go through today - people appearing to be about the age of 35 - 40 that said they had it and it knocked them out flat for over 10 days. Listening to the one fellow talk made up my mind for me. I'm getting both shots. I want my husband to get the viral pneumonia shot as well and I may just pay for it and get it too. It's supposedly a combination of all the other viruses (illnesses) that kill you - not the H1N1 alone.
You are asking scary questions. You should be more informed than you are. A thermometer simply tells you how sick you really are.

Thanks for that Van Isle .

I didn't start out concerned or confused about flus or flu shots..I don't get flu shots.Yet never realyy questioned them until ..Sars /avian flu and now swine flu took the stage..1 never over shadowing the other..

The reason I got hooked on the hype is because of the conflicting answers or just avoidance of real questions from people who promote this as a Pandemic emergency...

They seem to making up the rules and answers as they go along..Can be risky ..

There is no cure to the flu ..No real way with out tests to know if you have 1 flu or another..Yet lots of needles..

SWINE FLU: German Politicians Get Better Vaccine Than Germans | The Seferm Post

Obama declares H1N1 emergency - CNN.com

Obama rushs vaccines bypassing/ignoring Federal guidelines? ..What guidlines.?.The health care system is already in shambles because of faulty/fraudulant private policy practises ..How much $$ has Obama recieved from the medical communitee?...Calls it a National emergency ? Is it really?...If that was the case the Common flu would be an emergency every year.

$$.. All Big Business B.S. and Political games...Like always ...Nothing changes ..$$

Need a public health care plan in U.S. ;-)

I only asked about the thermometer temperature because I know sometimes certain virus' /illness peak at certain temps ..Have their own signature.

I think we are overdosing on manufactured Flu/cold hype with no cure in sight..Good luck to all those who choose to get the needles?..Be sure to tell us who don't , how it goes..

I'll use what so far has worked for me...Real provin Prevention...Stay away from those who are sick..Symptoms ..Itchy eyes /runny nose /deep coughs/Fever..These people are found mostly in Long lines, big crowds and hospitals..

Be sure to Eat your vitamins..

I believe 1 flu may be a naturally evolving "Common" flu... Another flu cold be a "Frankenstein " flu ..A flu that may have mutated into an "artificial/man made" virus..Formed by all the antigens/antibodies and artificial additives mixed into flu shots, then fed to the animals over the years/generations.

Most of these Vaccnines are have been Recycled /renamed/redistributed under various names and labels through out the years..Perhaps "FRAKEN FLU"....is a good Catchy name for next big flu scare when "Swine" flu drops off the charts.

2 flu's = Twice the $$.

Cleans out some ol' stock..

Symptoms are all the same from 1 flu to another.....No 1 can tell without a Dr. They will all overreact ..If you have a fever over 102, 103 go to the hospital ..

I had a customer a few days back who was bragging about never having had the flu in his life. He also bragged about never having had a flu shot and in regard to the H1N1 - his words were "Bring it on". I looked at him and thought about how foolish his thinking was in my opinion. I hope that when it "come on" he doesn't die of his bravado. I hope the same for you Greenfish.

I ain't braggin ....Hope everyone lives long and healthy lives no matter what your choices are...I am somewhat of a naturalist ...I don't even take anacin for a headache ..(unless it's extreme)..Rarely get headaches ..I know how to relax..

When the end comes ..I am ready...I don't fear it ...I will embrace it ..Although I enjoy life and live everyday to the fullest ...

This earth/world, being a part of it.. is a great place to be for me....

We are all lucky to be here..To witness iTt ..Observe the awsomeness of iTt all!;-)

Life is too short to worry about every little thing that could /might get you.....

Give it your best ..Never give it all ..Enjoy what you have ..Or you'll never know till it's gone.."

I've been through far worse than flu's and flu fears...

I should be a nervous paranoid wreck by now..

Still here ...

If (knock on wood) I do get a flu ..Hope it doesn't go down in the records as "Swine " flu...I prefer ..The flu ..Or even H1N1 ...Far more humane names..Then Pig Flu..

Over and out there from here..:).

H1N1, like any other pandemic causing influenza virus, is more virulent. What also makes this one different is that it seems to cause more damage to the young and healthy. Influenza generally doesn't kill people. It weakens them and pneumonia sets in.
