Probably a good thing, but this whole subject has been blown way out of proportion. It's just another strain of flu virus, probably not much better or worse than most. Apparently we old codgers born prior to 1957 are more or less immune to it. On the other hand regarding a handful of seemingly healthly people who have died from it, I wouldn't down play the importance- just don't think the media needs to air it 47 times a day.
I've heard that people born before 1957 need not worry over much and then I've heard that anyone under the age of 65 needs to worry (the two don't fit)and I've also heard that anyone over 65 better hurry to get the vaccine and the pneumonia shot if they haven't had one. Conflicting reports everyday.
I would imagine there must be some testing procedures and protocol, I'd be a little leery about just sticking it in people's arms as soon as it comes off the truck.
