Ordinary people fight for a cause. As long as the cause is justified.
Countries go to war to help their economies which is a totally stupid idea.
War is the means to suppress another nation to compliance.
In some cases there may be merit for force and yet in majority of times war is the wrong tool to solve problems between nations.

Being that humanity is adversarial the Army serves a dual purpose, employment as well security.

Countries do not go to war to fix their economies.....war destroys econmies, it does not fix them. Witness our current mess, partly brought on by massive US deficit, largely because of the wars.....

Good day Colpy,
Manufacturing tanks and all sorts of weaponry, is armor to kill people, manufacturing air plane bombers also is armor to kill people,

America going into Iraq and fighting for the last 8 years contributed to the military economy in the US in a negative way, it sank the US in war red ink, but during these 8 years many in America associated to the military took a pay cheque home and spent it on the economy.

If I can rephrase, wars are created, they don’t happen on their own, and always there is an ulterior motive behind the reasoning, to go to war,
but before a country can go to war, they have the either manufacture the weapons or buy them from another country who builds them, lets not forget almost 50 deferent countries around the globe are today presently at war with their neighbors, so BIG BUSINESS WAR.

One indisputable fact is that wars keep the military industry producing weapons that are purchased by other countries, thus making the economy were the weapons were manufactured stronger.

Sure the US is worse off. But the people who got Bush elected have made a killing off the Iraq war.

Of course it was about the money. Not for the american people but specific individuals. It wasn't about WMDs, there weren't any. There weren't any links to al Queda. You can't it was a humanitarian intervention, more than a million people died and another 4 million were made homeless refugees.

I find it both interesting and telling that 99% of the people featured in that video (OP) are white and there was an over representation of blond hair and blue eyes; typical of Nazi propaganda.

The white man's burden is a a heavy load to carry huh?
