How many countries "in the world" are actually in Afghanistan or will be at the end of the year. Iraq? Same question
Are the "taliban" a uniquely Canadian problem or are they an American representation of "the bogeyman" Are they a problem at all?
If the US has a problem, we don't need to go and "hold their hand whilst they stamp their little feet and grind their teeth" about it
They should "man up" and deal with there own problems - starting with their own paranoid delusions
Afghanistan will not fix the permanent loss of face in Vietnam, so get over it
First of all, Afghanistan is a UN Mandated NATO mission........therefore the world is involved.
Secondly, the Taliban, when they ruled Afghanistan, were one of the worst regimes on earth........mistreatment of women being top of their list of goodies, with destruction of ancient wonders just behind.....
Thirdly, they sheltered and supplied aid and support to terror groups that attacked us. That is US as in North American, the USA and her closest ally, without reason. Then the Taliban were given every opportunity to hand over the guilty.....which they refused to do.....soooooooo, they reap the whirlwind.
Fourthly, do you have the slightest idea what you are defending????????? I don't expect Afghanistan to emerge as a liberal democracy, nobody with a brain does. But they are miles ahead when they are not dealing with the Taliban, who happily throw acid in the faces of young teenaged girls....because the dare attend school.
And I love you guys yapping about Vietnam.........first it was Iraq is Vietnam....what a joke THAT turned out to be!
What does Vietnam have to do with this?
