Obama haters, the far right nut jobs are nothing if not resourceful. They called him a Muslim terrorist, that didn’t work. They called him an illegal alien, who is in the country illegally, that didn’t work. Right wing nutters must have filed perhaps 50 lawsuits to have Obama declared an illegal alien, have him booted out of USA and hand over the presidency to McCain (of course, we all know that McCain was just a figurehead, the real power would rest with the Joan of Arc, which is what the nutters really wanted).
They called him a Socialist, it didn’t work. According to the latest Newsweek cover, we are all Socialists now.

Communism scheduled for a vote in Senate
Apparently we have all been duped by USSR. Not by Russia, mind you but by the old Communist USSR. USSR has been mentoring Obama since he was going to the Law School. They indoctrinated him in Communist ideology and groomed him to be the President of USA.
Apparently one of the far right nutters was visiting USSR in 1992 (why would USSR invite a right wing hate monger to visit them beats me, but that is a separate issue). At that time in a cocktail party a Soviet official, after spouting anti-American tirade, said
"What if I told you that you will have a black president very soon and he will be a Communist?"
The out-of-the-blue remark was met by our stares. She continued, "Well, you will; and he will be a Communist."
"Yes, it is true. This is not some idle talk. He is already born, and he is educated and being groomed to be president right now.
“His name is Barack. His mother is white and American and his father is black from Africa. That's right, a chocolate baby! And he's going to be your president."
“He is intelligent and he is half white and has been raised from the cradle to be an atheist and a Communist. He's gone to the finest schools. He is being guided every step of the way and he will be irresistible to America."
She rattled off a complete litany. He was from Hawaii. He went to school in California. He lived in Chicago. He was soon to be elected to the Legislature. "Have no doubt: he is one of us, a Soviet."
She continued with something to the effect that America was at the same time the great hope and the great obstacle for Communism. America would have to be converted to Communism, and Barack was going to pave the way.
