Lil' Adolf Hitler Campbell an Lil' JoyceLynn Aryan Nation Campbell? Of course the little fascists won't grow up and do what Hilter did. Not that they're fascists or racist or anything.

Cake request for 3-year-old Hitler namesake denied

AP – Heath Campbell, left, with his wife Deborah and son Adolph Hitler, 3, pose in Easton, Pa.,, Tuesday, …

EASTON, Pa. – The father of 3-year-old Adolf Hitler Campbell, denied a birthday cake with the child's full name on it by one New Jersey supermarket, is asking for a little tolerance. Heath Campbell and his wife, Deborah, are upset not only with the decision made by the Greenwich ShopRite, but with an outpouring of angry Internet postings in response to a local newspaper article over the weekend on their flare-up over frosting.
"I think people need to take their heads out of the cloud they've been in and start focusing on the future and not on the past," Heath Campbell said Tuesday in an interview conducted in Easton, on the other side of the Delaware River from where the family lives in Hunterdon County, N.J.
"There's a new president and he says it's time for a change; well, then it's time for a change," the 35-year-old continued. "They need to accept a name. A name's a name. The kid isn't going to grow up and do what (Hitler) did."
Deborah Campbell, 25, said she phoned in her order last week to the ShopRite. When she told the bakery department she wanted her son's name spelled out, she was told to talk to a supervisor, who denied the request.
A store manager at ShopRite referred questions to a corporate spokeswoman who did not immediately return a phone message Tuesday. But spokeswoman Karen Meleta told The Easton Express-Times for Sunday's editions that the store considered Campbell's request inappropriate.
The Campbells ultimately got their cake decorated at a Wal-Mart in Pennsylvania, Deborah Campbell said. About 12 people attended the birthday party on Sunday, including several children who were of mixed race, according to Heath Campbell.
"If we're so racist, then why would I have them come into my home?" he asked.
The Campbells' other two children also have unusual names: JoyceLynn Aryan Nation Campbell turns 2 in a few months and Honszlynn Hinler Jeannie Campbell will be 1 in April.
Heath Campbell said he named his son after Adolf Hitler because he liked the name and because "no one else in the world would have that name." He sounded surprised by all the controversy the dispute had generated.
Campbell said his ancestors are German and that he has lived his entire life in Hunterdon County. On Tuesday he wore a pair of black boots he said were worn by a German soldier during World War II.
He said he was raised not to avoid people of other races but not to mix with them socially or romantically. But he said he would try to raise his children differently.
"Say he grows up and hangs out with black people. That's fine, I don't really care," he said. "That's his choice."

Why would the store deny the request? Write the name, take the money and give them the cake. What the heck could happen by doing that?

Some idiots need to be hit with the stick a little before they stand in line correctly. Name you kid what ever the hell you like. Should life then suck because of the name, enjoy it. The state should simply take a way the kids and stuff them into foster care while Mum and Dad play the Red Tape sucks game.

Maybe it would be funny if someone named their kid Ike and taught him to kick Adolf's ass each day. Should little Adolf's parent's find they have a problem with that, then they clearly hate the idea of history and the proud moments of a great nation. Deport them the Haiti.

I guess calling their kid Suck My Dick Bitch was a little too controversial?

Neo-nazi scumbags need the boots put to them.

I think all the drugs in our drinking water are screwing with people's brains.

Why the hell would you decide to call your child Adolf Hitler? Like the entire name ffs. They knew very well what kind of future this would bring their child, and no matter how great they bring up their children, a good chunk of the globe will still get all pissy about it and make that kids' life a living hell.

Chances are, when the kid gets the first chance, he'll change his name. If he wanted to be named after such a controvertial figure in our history, he could do that on his own later on in life.

And Aryan Nation?

Seriously have people run out of decent names to use, they have to start calling their children countries, inanimate objects or loopy historical figures?

When I was in primary class, there was a girl with the first name Patience......

I thought that was bad, but then came the celebrities naming their kids after fruits, like apple.

Maybe I'll just name my first born "Slimy thing that came out of my wifes crotch" while I'm at it. Maybe I'll shorten it up to Sttcoomwc.

People need to stop treating their children like they're accesories for their own lives and treat them like human friggin beings. Think about the names and things you're planning on putting your children through for the rest of their lives and stop thinking about your own stupid points you wish to make to society through your children.

I don't blame the kids any in this situation, I directly blame the parents for being so dumb.

So does that mean I think nobody should be named Adolf or Hitler forever? No..... maybe in a couple more centuries people can eventually move on and use them again..... but using both names together is an obvious attention seeking attempt..... something in which the children never asked for.

why the hell did the parents want a cake with all three names on it? When a kid has a cake it usually only has the first name... and adolph isn't even uncommon, even now. Even if they wanted to put his surname on it... that's campbell.... why would the parents insist on having the entire "adolph hitler campbell"? that's just asking for trouble...

something fishy going on there i think

These stupid parent have destined their son to a life of scorn and ridicule, not to mention the physical harm that might come to him because of their choice of names. The kid should be rescued from this pair of morons.

Could everyone please refrain from using the name Adolph Hitler on the board. We are concerned that there may be cakemakers viewing the forum.
