Ya gunna need a shovel, mate

Republican candidate John McCain said on Wednesday that if elected president, he will capture al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden.

"President Clinton had opportunities to get Osama bin Laden. President Bush had opportunities to get Osama bin Laden. I know how to do it and I'll do it," he told ABC's "World News" in an interview.'

President Clinton might have had opportunities to get bin Laden, but he wasn't wanted at that time. Bush couldn't find his shadow.

That will do it, now he has the american people, that's all they needed, they will love him now, he's a winner for sure.
Out come the flags again.
What an assanine thing for him to say, but, wait a minute, he knows the american people, they will bite, hook line
and sinker on that one, they will forget all the important things concerning what their country needs, and they
will hang on his every word, WOW, he will definitely capture Osama Bin Laden, he's got to be the one, cause we
really need him to be caught, and that will 'solve' all of our problems.
How pitiful.

Rense is hardly an reliable source of information. They are about as accurate as the O'Reilly Factor but spinning in the opposite direction. People who watch CNN and FoxNews should visit Rense, PrisonPlanet and the World Socialist Website just for balance.

Until President Bush decides the time is right to announce Osama's bin Laden's capture, he remains in a drug-induced coma in a secret room in the White House basement.

Actually I could have sworn I saw OBL behind the cash register at a local convenience store.

Seriously, if McCain wants to catch OBL, that likely means invading and occupying northern Pakistan. That could escalate the simmering Pakistani insurgency to full scale civil. A war which might be inevitable anyway.

Osama bin Laden:
A dead nemesis perpetuated by the US government
--

If bin Laden was dead,
Would the U.S. admit it?

--

Bin Laden may be dead, but living on through old sound bites
U.S. intelligence agencies are beginning to suspect that Al Qaida leader Osama Bin Laden is dead after all, despite a recent audio tape exhorting Al Qaida terrorists in Iraq.
--

Several weeks before she was assassinated in Pakistan, Benazir Bhutto claimed in an interview with the BBC’s David Frost that Osama Bin Laden had been murdered. She even names the alleged culprit. Is that not curious? The claim is made at about the 6 minute mark in the above video. The man Bhutto claims “murdered Bin Laden” is called Omar Sheik, who Musharraf claimed in his autobiography was a UK intelligence agent. Amazingly, David Frost finds nothing worthy of comment in this remarkable allegation. Astoundingly, the BBC’s edited version of the interview has this remark by Bhutto deleted. I cant help but suspect Bhutto spoke too much to David Frost, and this is what led to her being killed.
