Bloody Turdoh changed the whole meaning of the day. Dominion Day actually had some historic significance so obviously it had to be changed to a meaningless Canada Day. Happy Dominion Day, from sea to sea to sea.

Here's why I love Canada:
"Canadians oppose Iraq war, poll finds"
http://www.theglobeandmail.com/servl...onal/Politics/
"Canadians are solidly opposed to the war in Iraq and most Americans now believe that our decision not to join that prolonged and unpopular conflict was a good one, a new poll suggests ... Opposition to the war is huge in Canada, where 82 per cent of respondents said the invasion was the wrong decision."
GOD BLESS CANADA!!!

Thanks Kreskin! Had such a wonderful day - spent most of it down at the inner harbour in Victoria buying jewellery from the vendors and watching the street performers then finished up at a great restaraunt on Wharf street - called Sauce - amazing food in the company of family I don't get to see enough, and watching the patriotic revellers - so many people decked out in flags and other red and white apparell - very festive!
Ended the day by spending 2 hours in a parkig lot trying to break into my cousin's car with her keys locked inside - but we had a ever ending stream of people stopping by to help and eventually did get the keys out ... all in all seems like alot to celebrate today...I'm having a great holiday! Hope everyone else is too.

A hundred and forty one years unless my math is wrong.(1867 to 2008....
