And who is to say that Karma is justice? It may have nothing to do with justice and therefore is not bound by laws of degrees of severity pertaining to severity of crime. Karma may simply be the result of actions be they good or bad.
Sometimes cancer hits for reasons unknown. Sometimes it's because of the antipersperant you used....or having certain types of STI's, or having lived in a dusty environment (dust in the lungs can bring on certain types of lung cancer depending on the type of dust) the amount of hairspray inhailed (polymers are not good for lungs) or types of cleaners you use in your house (osmosis absorption).
My husband works in a place where very bad harmful cleaners are used and some employees seem to have no comprehension what the symbols on the container mean or that bare hand usage is bad.
I'd never suggest that all cancer is Karmic. Sometimes bad things happen to good people. But...
First off Twila it's a philosophy of life.Pretty damn hard to nail down ceptin in science for every action there is a reaction. This is fuel for the believers. I'm bent towards the hardcore belief that everything we do sets us up for an eventual event. I also pondered long and hard how long we all been around and thats also hardcore for my wiring.
I had a lucid dream once after a Yamantaka initiation. Very Wrathful diety in Tibetan Tradition. So we get this stuff called kushi grass , long whispy stuff, It was blessed during the initiation, and we were tp put it under our pillow .
So like I really did have this lucid dream....It was i was looking at this shiny greasy black pipe ....looked about a foot and half to two feet in diameter....there was this ovel worn out looking hole cut into it and i saw like this ocean of black water rushing through. I say ocean for thats the thought that came to me whilst watching it.....I knew this was my life. The pipe my body and the black water all should have been crystal clear...And i also knew that i had to make clean the water again...which was like going to take forever......
The next day we go back to Rinpoche's and He asks us about our dreams...He warns that if we had a lot of black it wasn't a good sign....yikes!!!
In a show of hands I was the only one out of 35 people./.
Anyway He is a nice guy and during the break i go up to Him and tell Him my dream..He looks and said thats your karma.I said I knew that and like this look of bummedness must have been on me face..He said just shows you how much there is and laughed. He then said not to worry for the water was rushing out and not just laying there.....
My life isn't exactly Leave it to Beaver... i got a lot of hell to work through....
Have a nice day
