How Today's media would have covered D-Day

Actually we have great examples in history of the way our current media would act in the past.

If you read the criticisms and complaints headlined in newspapers of the Northern states of America during the Civil War you would have a great example of the North flying into several divided countries during a long grueling 4 year war. In fact the cartoons depicting Lincoln as a Gibbon as they do today of George Bush is striking. I wouldn't put Bush on same level as Lincoln, however.
