No wonder what little tv I watch is mostly educational or British tv. The only things Canadian I've seen that aren't too objectionable are Corner Gas, Red Green, and Regenesis (just found that one recently). Most American tv sucks, as well.

Well I'm happy to say goodbye to CHUM, what a sleezy and tacky station.. CityTV that is. I always viewed every one of their stations as tacky and at the least, very annoying, though the "CityTV. Everywhere" slogan still sticks. Maybe Bell will give them a more professional facelift? Either way, I think it's unfair to the Canadian population to give 3 corporations control of the media of which Canadians are exposed to.

I know a lot of people on here claim to watch CBC, but the Canwest, BCE and Rogers stations have the real viewership numbers.

Yes CHUM, and Citytv was always the network for youth

CTV is the local news winner across the country, except for BC where Global (Canwest) does very well.

Most of the shows are American.

Our tv viewing is predominantly American.

And, people who claim to watch CBC are few and far between, because the only time CBC registers in the top 30 is for Hockey.
