OK well i can see how this works:
Mr cherry seller is selling his cherries, believes they're good for pain, maybe they actually are too. He writes on the packages of his cherries (which havent been selling too well recently) that it cures arthritis and saves lives and is a wonder-drug. The FDA catches hold of the false advertising and politely writes to mr cherry seller pointing out that they can't really sell products which claimn to cure conditions without any scientific proof of said claims. They also point out that if and when they get the proof, they need to liscence their product as a drug, since that is what it'd be.
My cherry seller gets upset and writes his own vaguely worded website about the demon FDA sending threatening letters and the "fact" that 2/3 of the US population suffers pain due to fluoride poisoning.

the fda, you need to keep an eye on...have been watching them for quite sometime now...not good!
'Looking closer, nearly all of the many companies I looked into this afternoon have received warning letters from the FDA stating that because of their claims about the healing properties of tart cherries, the cherry juice and/or cherries are therefore considered to be a "drug," and the vendors must file a "New Drug Application". What crap is this!'

When my doctor told me I had gout, I told him he was cazy and that I had had high acidity since birth. Then I went to a homeopath, he told me that eating the following green beans, pears, iceberg lettuce,
cucumber a couple on times a day. These foods eliminate acid. it will take a bit of time. All my pain disappeared and if my foot begins to hurt I eat these foods and it goes away.
Hope you hubby feels better soon.

Isn't it just a cleansing for the body to eat a well balanced diet. It's amazing that any body function works properly as fulltime burgervors.

and the medical benefits to be gained from the ingestion of ritilin are.......
or the fda approved aspartame.......
or the fda approval of the introduction of fluoride in bottled water dispite no scientific evidence to prove that fluoride prevents tooth decay....
