OTTAWA (CP) - The head of the Air India inquiry is threatening to shut down the investigation and close up shop unless the government relents on its claims that key documents and testimony must remain secret for national security reasons. Addressing a hushed hearing room Monday, former Supreme Court justice John Major said federal lawyers are insisting on such heavy censorship of written material that it makes the paper trail surrounding the 1985 bombing "meaningless."
