Flood waters recede in southern British Columbia

CTV News
Flood waters are receding in B.C.'s eastern Fraser Valley after a weekend downpour, but residents from 200 homes were still evacuated early Tuesday.

This is just one more piece to maybe throw into the global warming fire. Southern B.C. had very heavy rainfall that beat all time records. Some areas received 350 millimeters over the 6 day period.
For a change, we got rain but nowhere near what the lower mainland got.
Our garbage was picked up on Friday and the garbage collectors left the garbage can with the lid off. During the couple hours that I waited for the can to bring it's self in, (it was really pouring) the can collected a good five or six inches of water. Heavier rain than I've seen since we moved here.
