PEI...for now
 Two things people throughout history have had in common are hatred and humour. I am proud that, like Mark Twain, I have been able to use humour to lessen people's hatred!"

I'd like to know who thought it was in good taste to interview the poor man sick as hell in his bed. They played a short portion of it the other day and it was the saddest thing. I wish I hadn't seen it because now I don't remember him with his hysterical comedy, but rather sick and tiny in his bed.

Not good. Bless him, he was a fine comedian.

There is a fine line between to laugh with and to laugh at.

Richard Pryor

He was definately a comic genius, and a huge part of my youth.
GreenGreta I saw a similar interview a couple of years ago, where his wife had to translate for him . The M.S. had gotten the best of him by then , ( never mind the yrs of drug abuse.) it was quite sad. I can only assume his "people" set these things up. They should learn to let sleeping dogs lie, so we can remember happier/healthier times, and leave people with some dignity.
