WestJet earnings up 43% in Q3

Discount airline WestJet reported a 43 per cent jump in its third-quarter earnings despite increased fuel costs, the company said Thursday.
WestJet (TSX:WJA) reported a profit of $30.3 million (23 cents a share), up from $21.1 million (17 cents a share) a year earlier.
The Calgary-based company said its operating revenue increased 30.9 per cent this quarter to $406.1 million from $310.3 million in the third quarter last year.
*Pretty good if you ask me. I think a lot of their savings come from only flying one brand of plane, the reliable 737. As mechanics have to be familar with one design and makes managing parts easier too.
I have flown Westjet and I think the service was pretty good plus they have Bell Expressview for people to watch.
