What the hell are you talking about Jay...it could not be more obvious that the building was MADE to look like a swastika...I'd really like to hear the building architect's explanation of the symbolism behind that... 8O

It is a joke Vanni...I suppose, one you haven't heard before.
TenPenny said:What about those Newfoundland stamps with Swastikas on them?
Did you know that the logo of Potash Company of America (now part of PCS) had a swastika on it?
Vanni Fucci said:Alright then...the swastikas on the Newfoundland and Canadian stamps were all before 1933 when the Nazis came to power...the swastika before that time was considered to be a symbol of luck...much like a four leaf clover or shamrock...
I wasn't able to find working links to the Potash reference...but I did find a Google link for a Potash mine named Swastika...but there again, the link didn't work...
TenPenny said:I knew the stamps were old, that was for fun.
The old PCA logo had a Native American with head dress (from New Mexico, where the first mine was). Just above the ear was a swastika. But since the symbol is about 3000 years old, and used by natives all over, it's no surprise. But it is food for conspiracy theorists.
Jay said:You might be suprised to know there is a Swastika Ontario...
I'm now wondering if it has something to do with Potash...
Jay said:No...because I'm not a socialist.
