Eight beautiful horses,of the bucking variety,jumped to their deaths off a bridge-apparently frightened by a shunting locomotive.They were part of a large herd of horses being driven cross country to the Calgary Stampede. As an animal lover,horses especially,this is very sad.

Who the hell thought they could herd semi-wild horses through city traffic? How come somebody who actually knows something about horses didn't stop them?

that's very sad, I love horses and I hate to hear that they have been killed in a manner that could have been prevented if only somebody had used an ounce of sense. We can't expect the horses to use sense, so we have to use our sense to protect them.
