CNN reporting that the Secret Service was notified (after the fact) by Georgian Security services, that a device termed a "hand grenade" was thrown into a crowd listening to the President make a speech. It was within 100 feet, but did not go off and was taken away by Security.

I remember Lucy, Ten Packs...it was in perpetual reruns until my mid teens.
I think that they are in such a state of paranoia down there that they will hype eveything like that, Mr. Mom. It wasn't that long ago that they were running out of duct tape either. The Bush regime has been encouraging that since 9-12.

I think it's a more frightened country now, than even when I lived there at the height of the Cold War/Fallout Shelter thing, in the early 60's.
I'd feel sorry for them, but for the fact their own government is doing it to them on purpose.

yeah, we had the radio on at dinner...we all just sat there shaking our heads...some old guy from pennsylvania made a wrong turn and is met with a war machine out the side window. government wouldn't say whether they had the clear to shoot him down....groan.
