You know as I'm following the US presidential race I realized how petty the attacks on each others service has been during Vietnam.
I can’t recall a time in Canadian Politics where a PM tried to capitalize on their service to their country. I was hoping for some History buffs to point something out to me here.
I also would like to know what others think about why the US has such a need to have a war hero for a leader?
