The speed at which the fires advanced was breath-taking Cannuck. I've been reading witness accounts about the wind, smoke and spread of the fires on different websites. It has been a horrendous summer and now fall for wildfires in our country. I was very saddened to read of the death of this young man.

We were in the Hilda and Richmound area and they were evacuating Leader, 70 kilometers away. The size of the fire was staggering
