The Louvre museum in Paris has been evacuated after what the French Ministry of the Interior has called a “serious public security event” in which a number of soldier opened fire on a man with a machete who cried “Allahu Akbar”.

Soldiers fired five shots to disable a man at the entrance to the Louvre in Paris, France Friday morning after the machete-wielding attacker shouted threats and the well known Islamist phrase “Allahu Akhbar”, rushed the troops while carrying two backpacks, reports Le Figaro.

The man was shot in the stomach and bomb-disposal teams have been deployed to assess the contents of the man’s bags. Police have said no explosives have been found.

The soldiers, who are among the 100,000 deployed to the streets of France to protect schools, places of worship, railway stations, and sites of touristic interest as part of operation Sentinel were patrolling in a group of three men when the attack took place. One soldier sustained light injuries during the attack.

The sooner we leave the EU and control our borders, the better. Fortunately, though, we don't have to build a wall between us and France. We've got the English Channel.

...and aside from senior politicians letting them in, that is different from today's muslim invasions how?

Just imagine what Canada what be like now had the British not turned up. You'd be like many African countries - poor, Third World, inhabited by brown-skinned people who live in tents and hunt their food with spears.

If you Allah Akbar'ed with a machete around here, a local would deliver a bullet free of charge. Allah Akbar performances have to be bigger city events. More people to cut and a reduced chance that the attacker will be discovered before being stopped.

That fellow sounds like an idiot's idiot. If you can see armed pers nearby, I'd be chopping heads off somewhere farther away. Mind you, no one ever accused nut bars of being too bright.

He was probably a Brit. Typically, a dullard, unemployed and racist.

Machete-wielding man slumps to the ground after being shot in the stomach at the Louvre museum as he attacked French soldiers while screaming 'Allahu Akbar'






The BBC news report on this incident, on UK television, noted that the perpetrator shouted 'god is great' in Arabic.


Presumably it was a multilingual KKK member.

Just read the article on CBC. NO mention of his ethnicity NOR did they mention the "allu ackbar" part of the attack. On Justin's orders I presume.
