Careful with that, your Highness! Charles joins in with traditional sword dancing after he is serenaded with bagpipes as he begins tour of the Middle East with Camilla in Oman
Prince Charles and Camilla are in Oman as part of a seven day tour of the Gulf region, which will see them undertake 50 engagements in three countries, including Bahrain and the UAE. The trip has been organised at the request of the British Government, in order to promote the partnership between the UK and the Middle East. They were welcomed with a traditional ceremony including sword dancing, which Charles turned his hand to with some expert help, pictured above, centre. They were also serenaded with some bagpipes playing, pictured right, and saw the modern and ancient worlds collide, with iPhones stored in traditional belts, pictured inset. Camilla has been visiting a hostel and attending a Women in Business event, where she is pictured left, sampling some cake from one of the women's stands.
